2013 has already proven to be an interesting year.

After a six-month hiatus in 2012 (due to work commitments), I have started work on my third novel, tentatively titled ‘House of the Hidden Moon’. This is the first book in a Fantasy trilogy, which I am quietly excited about. The majority of events in the first novel take place in an imaginary city, which I am basing on the former capital of the second Bulgarian Empire in Veliko Tarnovo. You can check out some of the photos here.

I have also recently changed literary agencies, and I’m delighted to have joined the John Jarrold literary agency in the UK. John has managed three science fiction and fantasy imprints in the UK since 1988 and edited many well-known authors, so I am looking forward to his report on my second novel – ‘The Hidden Keystone’ – which is due to arrive any day now.
I’m pretty sure I am going to look back at 2013 as a pivotal year in my writing career, not to mention a very busy one.
