Horns by Joe Hill

Overall, 4 stars for Horns by Mr Hill.
The narrative style is very effective and I liked the way the point of view shifted, both between the main characters and at various points in time. Sections of the book held me spellbound and you know it’s a good sign when your nose is buried so far in a book you almost miss your bus stop. Other sections dragged a little, however, which is why I couldn’t give it 5 stars.
Hill’s writing is assured, his handling of tension very deft indeed, and his characters are eminently believable. Definitely recommended.
